Dr. Frank Berzanskis, Sr is the founder of Lake Nona’s first chiropractic office.
In 2008, when Narcoossee Road was 1 lane and cow pastures, Dr. Frank’s vision was to open an office that would lead & teach the growing Lake Nona community about wellness & healthier lifestyle strategies.
Upon graduating from Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1984, Dr. Frank, Sr returned to his home state of New Jersey and opened his first Chiropractic office in Atlantic County where he practiced for 21 years before relocating to Florida.
Since opening in 2008, Lake Nona Family Chiropractic is one of the most successful practices in Central Florida . Today, Dr. Frank cares for thousands of patients each year at his state-of-the-art wellness center.
Dr. Frank’s philosophy of health is, was and always will be centered around a quote from the developer of chiropractic, Dr. B.J. Palmer:
“The power that made the body, (GOD), heals the body. It happens no other way!”
Dr. Frank resides in Lake Nona with his wife Eileen of 31 years.
They have 3 sons,
Dr. Frank, Jr, Brian and John.
Since Dr. Frank, Jr, was young, he’s had the privilege of experiencing the healing capabilities of chiropractic. His first adjustment occurred when he was just 3 weeks-old by one of Dr. Frank, Sr’s mentors, Dr. Michael Kale.
From a young age, he understood the principal of chiropractic and how the body can heal itself from within, as well as the importance of nutrition and exercise in this healing process.
As an accomplished scratch golfer, Dr. Frank Jr. was recruited by Brevard Community College and Florida Atlantic University to play for their golf programs. While attending college, his desire for knowledge of how the body works and heals led him to enroll in Palmer’s College of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Frank Jr. also spent time working with top level division I athletes in order to help them achieve optimal levels of performance.
Upon graduating in 2018, Dr. Frank Jr, joined his father in practice at Lake Nona Family Chiropractic.
Dr. Frank Jr, still enjoys golfing especially when he beats his dad. He is also an avid surfer which has led him to travel to amazing destinations such as Indonesia, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rob has always had a passion for human performance. Sports and exercise is what eventually led to him to find the amazing powers that chiropractic care has to offer.
As a child he was always very competitive in every aspect of life. (He even took first in a baby crawling race his parents entered him in as a infant). He always loved to help others so he was naturally drawn to the health field. When deciding a career in health his competitive nature drove him towards being a physician. After doing countless hours of research Dr. Rob realized that the standard approach to health would always put him in second place and the only way to to be the best is to prevent disease from occurring before it starts.
Naturally he started schooling to become a Chiropractor. He enrolled at UCF to begin his degree in Exercise Sciences and Human Performance. While studying hard and working to become more knowledgeable in the human body he would often make time to watch the Football games. While watching a game he asked himself “Why am I watching people play a game I love? I should be playing!”. Applying his own schooling and research of the human body to himself he managed to add over 50 pounds of muscle to his frame to make him fit the needed frame of a Division 1 Football roster. And his senior year he was one of the few walk ons to officially become a UCF football player.
After undergrad, Dr. Rob enrolled in Palmer Chiropractic College. In his extensive studies in the human body he took a particular interest in neurology and nutrition. He began taking additional neurology and nutrition courses along side of the chiropractic program which led him to eventually become board certified in Chiropractic Neurology. He is still working on becoming Board Certified in Nutrition. In his externship portion of Chiropractic school, Dr. Rob was given the opportunity to shadow Dr. Frank, Sr and learned the tip of the Iceberg in Corrective Chiropractic Care.
Upon graduating in 2018, he spent time working at different Chiropractic Practices. He learned a great deal about alternative treatments ranging from Stem Cell Injections, Platelet Rich Plasma therapies to physical therapy and rehab following traumatic injuries. However, these practices still left him feeling like he was in second place…they were missing something… Proper Chiropractic Care! In the beginning of 2020 Dr. Frank reached out to him and offered him to join the team at Lake Nona Family Chiropractic. He accepted without hesitation!
When not at LNFC, Dr. Rob enjoys regularly exercising, readiing research, riding his bike, playing video games, and playing with his dogs.
