Dr. Johnson: “People want to know what ails them. I am here to listen to your needs and provide choices of how I can help. I respect your time, and the medical choices you make. Together, we work as a partnership to improve your overall health and well-being.” Dr. J. (Valerie) Johnson is proud to offer patients compassionate care that is focused on helping them reach their goals of optimal health. She first became interested in chiropractic after experiencing a car accident in 1997. The emergency room found strain/sprain and prescribed muscle relaxers, but the pain steadily increased and spread. She sought the help of a chiropractor and was relieved of the majority of her pain within two weeks — and found that she experienced other health benefits as well. Amazed by the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, she explored the requirements to become a chiropractor herself.
Dr. J. Valerie Johnson received her undergraduate degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida for four years, completing over 4000 hours of training. She completed her internship, and received her Doctor of Chiropractic. She later continued her education in clinical nutrition. She has gained much experience in treating car accident and sport injury patients. Dr. Johnson maintains a diverse practice – family and wellness care, auto injuries, sport injuries, and many chronic or difficult cases, including management of arthritis and fibromyalgia. She is an active member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and volunteers locally to help treat uninsured working people in Central Florida.
